EAW releases two, announces tournament and a new signing

23/03/2008
Sydney, AUS

The latest news to come out of EAW's head office is that EAW owner Scott Carmichael has officially released three members from the fledgling roster.

"Jonathan Carcer and Aaron Abercrombie have been released from their contracts with EAW. As well as the quitting of Jack Star just before our first Outback Thunder show, this brings our roster down to five. Luckily, we have just recently signed on a new talent, who goes by the name of The Republican. This masked superstar will no doubt draw comparisons to The Patriot, who competed in the big American companies back in the nineties."

Along with these hirings and firings, Scott also spoke about the upcoming title tournament.

"On our April tenth show, we will be holding the qualifying matches for our championship title match at our first supercard, Mayhem. With our roster only having six members, I have secured the services of two mystery competitors, who have express interest in being in the tournament and possibly also signing EAW contracts."

Although it is only rumour at this point, word is that these two could be competitors from EAW's sister fed, Trans-Atlantic based Ricochet Pro Wrestling.
